JOB TITLE –CT Image Reconstruction Engineer


JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

FMI Medical Systems, Inc. seeks CT Image Reconstruction Engineer to work full-time closely with CT systems team to define image quality requirements and specifications. Develop CT/PET image calibration, correction, and post-processing reconstruction algorithms. Use simulation and modeling tools to analyze technical feasibility of new product/technology concepts. Design image quality control procedures and tools, test and verification methodology, and documentation and training. Perform image quality measurement and analysis. May travel to various unanticipated client sites in the US or China several times a year.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Physics; and 2 years of experience developing biomedical imaging systems (any job title). Experience must include 2 years with Matlab, C, C++, GPU (CUDA), image reconstruction, and DSP.

JOB TITLE – Software Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

WeWe are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our small team of engineers working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Software Engineer is responsible for developing systems software for a clinical medical imaging system and ensuring it meets high standards required for CFDA and FDA certification.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
• Fundamentals of data structures, algorithms, system control software, programming languages.
• Industrial software development experience in medical devices field.
• Plan, coordinate, integrate and test software applications on Linux and Windows
• Debug and release software applications and libraries
• Work with our high talent team expertise
• Plenty of additional opportunities in related projects

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Majoring in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Must have work experience in software development
• Must have work experience in object-oriented programming techniques and C++/C# programming language
• Knowledge of socket communications programming or other network software programming
• Working knowledge of fundamental software engineering tools and methodologies, including but not limited to configuration management tools, version control, automated testing
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of software development life cycle
• Experience in database management, software platform and user-interface design
• Experience in medical image processing a strong plus
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and team collaboration skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES –
• Work across the entire software development lifecycle including software design, implementation, verification, maintenance and documentation.
• Collaborate with software architects in requirements gathering, design and implementation
• Work within the software team to write, test, debug and peer review codes
• Develop and execute tests to verify the design and implementation
• Collaborate and interact with our global teams and external business partners including those in the United States and China
• Prepare technical documentation and effectively communicate results for internal design reviews and external presentations

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION –
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to travel to our other facility locations as required (10% travel)
